SaveForge — Alternative

For restoration workflows with compatible third-party virtual-space applications.

When installing APKs directly from Loot & Learn, Android may ask you to allow installations from your browser or file manager. Only install apps you trust. Your original game data stays separate. CloneX restores downloaded save data inside its own virtual environment without modifying the original game's protected local files. Online progress synchronization and compatibility depend on the individual game and account settings.

How to restore with SaveForge

Use this alternative when you prefer a compatible third-party app cloner or virtual Android environment.

  1. Download the game save-data ZIP from the top of this page. Do not extract it.
  2. Install SaveForge and a compatible app cloner or virtual space. Prefer an app cloner from the official Google Play Store when possible.
  3. Open the cloner or virtual space. Add Subway Surfers and SaveForge to that same environment.
  4. Before opening SaveForge, make sure Subway Surfers is not running inside the virtual space. Close or force-stop it if necessary.
  5. Open SaveForge. From its home screen, select Restore backup (not Back up saves).
  6. Tap CHOOSE ZIP and select the ZIP you downloaded, usually from the Downloads folder.
  7. In the Restore Saves popup, leave the existing Internal and External selections unchanged, then tap Restore.
  8. Check Latest Activity for restoration success or failure and any reported reason.
  9. Close SaveForge and launch Subway Surfers within the same cloner or virtual space.
Need broader Google Play compatibility?

Lightweight cloners such as CloneX, Multiple Accounts, Dual Apps, and Clone Master can have limitations with Google services or account sign-in. For apps requiring a fuller virtual Android system and supported Google Play sign-in, consider solutions such as Virtual Master or VPhoneOS. Features, security, availability, and login support vary by version and device; check the provider's documentation before installing.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to extract the ZIP file?

No. CloneX or SaveForge handles the supported ZIP during restoration; manual extraction is not needed.

Will my original game progress be deleted?

CloneX restores into its separate virtual environment without modifying the original game's protected local files. Online account-linked progress may synchronize depending on the game.

Do I need both CloneX and SaveForge?

No. CloneX has a built-in restore feature. SaveForge is an alternative for compatible third-party virtual environments.

Can I restore an older save file into a newer game version?

Often yes. Many games retain compatible save formats across updates, but a developer can change the save structure or validation. Check the tested version and last verified date.

Can I update my game after restoring save data?

Generally yes. The game remains unmodified, so ordinary updates, including Google Play updates where available, can work without downloading a new modified APK. Continued save and virtual-space compatibility cannot be guaranteed.

What if restoration fails?

Make sure the cloned game is closed, use a compatible version, and follow the restoration guide. With SaveForge, check Latest Activity for the reported reason.
